About
The CardioVascular Services partnership between Tufts Medical Center and Jordan Hospital is designed to provide patients with access to the most state-of-the-art cardiac services available today. When patients come to the Jordan Emergency Department with acute cardiac problems, they have direct access to a variety of treatments through active, inter-hospital communication, tailored to their needs. The delivery of all CardioVascular services is coordinated through a collaboration between Jordan-based and Tufts MC-based cardiovascular specialists.
While most cardiac care can be provided at Jordan Hospital, should a patient require more advanced procedures only available at Tufts Medical Center, the hospitals will coordinate transport, including the use of a helicopter, if necessary, to rapidly and seamlessly bring the patient to Tufts MC. Tufts Medical Center will continue to support and further develop cardiac services at Jordan Hospital, to ensure the best, most advanced care in the Plymouth area.
