About Us

The nationally-accredited Jordan Hospital Breast Center represents a concerted effort across medical, radiological and surgical disciplines at Jordan Hospital to provide the highest quality breast health care. Our advanced technology and multidisciplinary approach will allow us to streamline the process from the time a patient enters our system and an abnormality is detected. Our goal is to have most diagnoses within five business days.

It is our belief that a team approach is best for patients. We bring together experts in breast surgery, oncology, radiology, radiation oncology, nutrition, nursing and pathology. This allows us to meet the individual needs of women. Our coordinated approach to care allows women and their families to schedule appointments with several providers on the same day, giving them the opportunity and information they need to make the best decision.

Personalized care

Under the direction of Breast Center Medical Director and surgeon Dr. Lisa Tito and Jordan Hospital Cancer Center Executive Director and surgeon Dr. Marvin Lopez, the Jordan Hospital Breast Center provides women with easy access to the complete spectrum of clinical and support services, from screening to diagnosis, to treatment, counseling and education. The multidisciplinary team of surgeons and oncologists includes a specially-trained nurse navigator. The Nurse Navigator provides support and education to patients from the time of diagnosis through survivorship. The Breast Center is located near the Emergency Department.

Our nationally-accredited Breast Center includes private examination rooms, digital mammography units, breast ultrasound, and a stereotactic imaging and biopsy unit as well the Breast Center's patient centric, breast-focused office.

The Jordan Hospital Club Cancer Center is located immediately down the hall from the Breast Health Center and offers a comprehensive range of outpatient treatment services including radiation therapy, medical therapies and laboratory services. Women newly diagnosed with breast cancer can easily begin using the resources and expert staff at the Cancer Center.
