Bridge To Practice New orientees who are new graduates or who come from another level of care (rehabilitation or sub acute), follow a 12 week orientation. The first week is spent in education, followed by a week in staff education and one week of observational experience in specialty areas in and out of nursing (e.g. diagnostic imaging). Following that, nurses work with a preceptor, follow the preceptor’s schedule, and take an assignment with the preceptor.
Bridge To Excellence For more experienced nurses, there are ample opportunities to cross-train and tailor your career the way you want it. We have an extensive orientation process as well as a multitude of on-going educational opportunities.
“The orientation was great and everyone works together very well.” Lisa Estey, RN Recent Graduate
